What the heck is happening in Lehigh Acres, FL? We are EXPLODING is what is happening! In the next several weeks, I am going to be dropping a ton of blog posts about just what is going on in our once little podock town! New Retail Businesses (and I'm not talking about just auto part and dollar stores, of course there will be a few mixed in), New Restaurants, New Housing Developments, New Infrastructure, New Amenities, New Schools!! Whew we got a lot to talk about!
This is super exciting for us long time Lehighanders. My family has lived here since 2003 and FINALLY things are moving! We thought it would never happen but just like my parents told me, growing up in Cape Coral in the 90's... It will come just be patient and it did! Unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy the Cape Coral explosion because we figured if we don't have anything to do daily, lets move to the sticks where we can ride four-wheelers, have bon fires and no neighbors for miles! Those were the days but they came with the sacrifice of having nothing out here! Now, that is rapidly changing! I was just telling my husband that soon, we wont have to leave Lehigh for anything! We wont have to fight that horrid Fort Myers traffic to go shopping for clothes, shoes, housewares and etc! I know, I know, I'm using a lot of exclamations but I'm just STOKED and you should be too. Where else are you going to enjoy this beautiful paradise we call SW Florida at an affordable price with pretty low taxes in a rural setting? NOWHERE! So keep tuned in to future posts that are sure to get you all excited as me!!!
